Learn the ropes and meet new belay partners

It’s time to move off the auto belays!  Learn to climb and top rope to get access to new terrain and routes.  Intro to Climbing is an all inclusive class designed to give you all the basics of learning how to top rope with a partner and learn the beginning on how to climb more efficiently.  We have several different options to not only fit your schedule, but to learn in the environment of your choice.  These include our normal (co-ed) class, women, a condensed one day intro, and even a class for teens (12-17).

In Intro to Climbing, this is just the beginning of what you will get:

BRC Reservation/Cancellation Policy

-Full payment required to reserve an event (class, camp, private lesson, party or group)

-Cancellations made 7 days or more before an event can be given credit or refund.

-Cancellations made within 3-6 days before an event can be given credit, only.

No refunds, make ups or credits for cancellations made 2 days or less, before an event. 

No refunds, make-ups or credits for missed class or event.

  • Belay Basics – Learn how to tie into your harness and how to belay
  • Climbing Technique – Improve your overall climbing efficiency, improve footwork, and more.
  • Learn to Lead – Take advantage of all our climbing terrain and learn advanced climbing skills.
  • Sport Anchors and Rappelling – Learn how to build and clean bolted anchors to take your skills outside.
  • Private Instruction – Schedule a one on one and receive personalized attention to set new goals.
