Following recent updates to national, state and county guidelines, the Boulder Rock Club has updated our Mask Policy, effective Saturday, May 22nd.
To align with our community and surrounding businesses (King Soopers, Whole Foods, The Y, Colorado Athletic Club, Trader Joes, Home Depot and countless others) we will make masks optional for fully vaccinated individuals. Masks will be strongly encouraged for everyone else. Staff, members and guests are welcome to continue wearing masks if they feel more comfortable doing so. And we will support those individuals in their decisions.
We will continue to offer hand sanitizing stations, keep our disinfecting protocols and make sure our ventilation system is pumping in fresh air hourly.
Since the onset of the pandemic, we have done our best to adapt programming, policies and protocols to keep our members, guests and employees safe. We will continue to follow science-based recommendations from the CDC, state and local public health agencies. We see this most recent change in masks as another step towards getting back to focusing on what we love; rock climbing with friends and family. We hope this change allows you some additional freedom and the ability to enjoy the BRC to its fullest.
We cannot wait to see your smile!
