Summer Camps

Covid 19 Update–  We will be following state and local guidelines for all of our youth programming.  Questions, email: laurie@boulderrockclub

Camp Procedures:
The BRC is taking safety measures and following guidelines set forth by the Department of Public Health & Environment. Parents and campers can expect the following procedures for each camp.

Drop Off:
-Parents can drop off campers during a staggered drop off time between 8:30am – 9:00am to ease congestion
-Parents can accompany campers during a symptom screen outside before campers enter the BRC. Screened campers may then enter the facility
-Parents will say their daily goodbyes outside to ease congestion and traffic inside the facility
-We ask everyone to wear masks during drop off, check in and symptom screenings

During Camp:
-Everyone will wear a mask
-Physical distancing will be maintained at all times possible, but the nature of climbing, belaying and safety checks will have campers in closer proximity at times
-Regular hand washing and sanitizer breaks will be facilitated by the instructors
-Meal and drink breaks will require social distancing and will be outside when weather allows
-Campers should come with enough food and water for the day. Water fountain is not available. Water, drinks and food(snack/bars) will be available for purchase.
-Regular outdoor “breather” breaks will be taken and social distancing will be maintained. Getting a break from our masks will be essential to maintaining a positive, fun environment.
-Sick or symptomatic children must be picked up and will not be allowed to return until they have met testing, exclusion and isolation requirements set forth by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment

Pick Up:
-Parents can pick up campers outside the facility. Staff will bring the campers outside
